Eplan PPE P8 2.5 (Win) (13/09/15)



EPLAN Software & Service GmbH & Co., a provider software for global engineering solutions, has released 2.5 version of EPLAN Platform P8. The new version helps you manage engineering data consistently from concept design, through detailed engineering all the way to manufacturing and service. The focus lies on decreasing processing time and simple management.

EPLAN PPE is CAE software for the planning and configuration of process automation for process engineering machines and systems. The automatic production of detailed reports is an integral part of a comprehensive documentation system and provides subsequent phases of the project, such as production, assembly, commissioning and service with the data required. The EPLAN Platform connects the electrical, measurement, control and regulation (E-MSR) configuration systems to other engineering disciplines. This allows for data exchange and accelerates the entire engineering process.

*Depending of the selection of the databases for the parts management, the project management and the dictionary, the use of a 64bit Office version is compulsory more..

The EPLAN Platform 2.5 will be delivered as a 64bit Version only. Office 32bit can still be used, however, SQL or SQL Express will then be needed for the parts database, the translation database and the project management database. Otherwise if Access is needed for the parts, translation and project database, then Office 64bit is required.
