The World Cup 2010 brought the Vuvuzela back on the radar and rather than try to suppress the instrument's tones like Waves Audio did recently, Sample Logic is bringing it to the forefront and presenting 40 exclusive Vuvuzela sounds for you to use in your tracks.

Vuvuzela for Kontakt is a "mini" sample library of 40 instruments and multis for Native Instruments Kontakt, created to help conjure the spirit of the World Cup while adding a new ethnic twist to your collection, according to the manufacturer. For the sample library, the Vuvuzela was performed with myriad articulations, from traditional staccato, sustain, and flutter patches to morphed war calls, impacts, and ethnic rhythms. In addition to an array of traditional-type sounds created on the Vuvuzela, the sample library includes a host of Morphed, or edited and FXd, sounds, such as general ambience, impacts, melodic parts, pads, "stingers," and rhythms.
